Welcome everyone to Season 2015 of the Avalon Touch Football Competition.


Playing times are 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

This year our playing dates are as follows:

October 2nd to December 18th

Registration fees per TEAM this year are $700 with a maximum of 12 players per team.

The  age groups this year are: U/6 U/8, U/10, U/12, U/14.

Registrations this year will be on SEPTEMBER 10th at THE CLUBHOUSE 5pm to 7pm

T Shirts are available in the following colours:

Hot Pink, Lime , Azure. Royal Blue, Emerald Green(Doggies Green),Turquoise, Aqua, Sky, Black, White, Gold, Maroon, Orange, Navy, Red, Purple.

Options for Colours for your logos and Tean names etc are:

Black, white, navy, red, hot pink, yellow, royal blue

T shirt sizes are as follows: 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, XS, S, M, L, XL

All  logos must be in an eps.file format or high quality pdf file. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 Canterbury Clothing is looking after our T shirt orders again and if you wish to see colours of shirts you can call into their factory at Unit 36, 5 Ponderosa Pde Warriewood.

Welcome everyone to Season 2013 - 2014 of the Hole in the Wall Competition. This year we are back to normal with all games being played out of Hitchcock Park again with Bar services running as per normal.

This year our playing dates are as follows:

September 18th to December 18th - Break for Xmas

February TBA - Feb TBA

Registrations this year will commence from AUGUST 1st to SEPTEMBER 25th and all registrations this year will be done ONLINE - No exceptions. PAYMENT WILL BE NECESSARY ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED YOUR ONLINE REGISTRATIONS SO HAVE A CREDIT CARD HANDY BEFORE YOU START. When you register you will be registering your Team name and 2 contact people names for your Team in one session so make sure you have all their contact details BEFORE you go online.

Bangally Junior Touch Football

(Est. 2002)

   In 2002, after many inquiries from parents in the Avalon Beach area, Brian Friend gathered up a couple of friends and commenced the Bangally Junior Touch football to be held on a Friday night at Hitchcock park, Avalon Beach. Together with his mate Annie Misdale (Canteen lady of the best quality) the competition amassed a total of 300 kids ranging from 6 years to 16 years. There were 5 time slots commencing at 4.30pm and finishing at 9pm that evening. Money was raised by the canteen and refreshment sales and the competition was alive and well. Sponsors came on board and Mayor Patricia Giles was made the Patron.

 As far as putting something back into the community, a dinner for two was obtained from Palm Beach RSL and Avalon Beach RSL each week and these vouchers were raffled off each evening with the winner receiving a ‘dinner for 2 and a bottle of wine’. This not only promoted the two clubs in our area, it gave us money to give to a charity of our choice….Mona Vale Hospital Children’s ward. The amount raised was presented to Mrs. Eileen Gordon (MVDH Auxillary) to buy medical equipment for the ward.

 At the conclusion of the 2008-9 season Friendly called it quits and left the competition in the capable hands of Lisa Matthews and Nicole Haines who had done the hard yards the previous years as it took more than one persons time to organize and run the competition. At the conclusion of that season a total of 760 children were playing and the total amount raised from 2002 was $11,000.

To date the Competition continues to run successfully "each off" season from October to February with the total number of kids playing swelling to around 900! The Competition is played at Hitchcock Park each Friday night with a break for the Xmas period.
